Due to a lot of customer contact or everyday office stress, errors can creep in. If you don’t pay attention for a short time, you already have a small error in your data record, but it can be very crucial. Often a contact is saved twice or more, these are the so-called duplicates. Duplicate records are not only annoying, but also become expensive over time. That is why we offer you the addon DUPE|IT. With DUPE|IT you get a reliable duplicate detection.
Significant disadvantages due to duplicates
Duplicate data in the customer record is very annoying. For example, if you send out a newsletter or info mails several times a month, your duplicate or multiple customers will receive the newsletter several times, which will be very annoying to the customer. After all, who has the time to read emails twice and three times in today’s working world. If you have a company that regularly sends out product catalogs, your costs will increase dramatically if you have a high number of duplicates when producing the product catalogs. With DUPE|IT and its reliable duplicate detection, you can avoid these problems.
Useful functions of DUPE|IT
In order to offer you the best search for identical customer records, DUPE|IT has a fuzzy logic that consists of an algorithm to show you similarities. By similarities, we mean names such as “Maier” and “Meier”. So DUPE|IT recognizes not only the “same” or “dissimilar”, but also the fuzzy information like a middle name or the email address is compared. Name differences like Maier and Meier are recognized by DUPE|IT as similar. With the function Check on contact or company level you can check contacts or companies for duplicates and merge them. For example, DUPE|IT recognizes contacts with similar names and also checks the company name. If the company name is the same for the similar contacts, these contacts are displayed as duplicates. By using different criteria, such as name, first name, street and postal code, DUPE|IT can define your duplicate search even more precisely. With the help of the NULL comparison and the clustering, identical records with missing data are displayed. After the duplicate search has been successfully performed, DUPE|IT will show you a list of all duplicates found, so you can decide which ones and if you want to remove or edit duplicate records. Once you have improved your cleansed customer data, you can automatically merge the data such as history, notes, documents, opportunities and groups.

Act! addon rental license
Prices of Act! addons are given per year. Offer prices are valid for the first contract year. After that the regular price applies.
The minimum term for the Act! Addon rental license is one year. If the contract is not terminated in text form at least three months before the end of the minimum term, it is tacitly extended by another year. For the time of the termination the receipt of the termination at CRMADDON Factory e.K. is decisive. The Act! Addon rental license is provided to you for temporary use during the contract period. Therefore, no permanent key is available to you after termination of the contract. The start of the minimum term corresponds to the invoice date.
Server license: The software is available on the Act! server and provides the described functionalities.
Client license: A separate license is required for each computer/workstation that needs the addon. The license is bound to the computer. When using terminal servers, please contact us.
Data Management License: The software is usually installed on an administrative workstation or the Act! server and is thus available to the data manager (administrator).

The fastest way to get to know a product is to test it yourself. Get a direct impression and install the software version on your computer. Here we offer you the download of the installation file. You can download this version without obligation and free of charge and install it on your computer. During the whole test phase you can get to know the complete range of functions. You can easily convert the test version into a full version. The data you have already entered in the test phase can be transferred directly to the full version. Please note that software is excluded from return.
Act! versions support
Addons for Act! are always supported for the latest 3 Act! versions. Currently (as of 01.11.2021) these are the versions Act! v22, v23 and v24. No support can be provided for older Act! versions.
Scope of delivery
Included is the software license. Please book services like installation, support, hosting, coaching etc. separately.
Addon lifetime
Our addons are always maintained for the current 3 Act! versions. If your Act! version is discontinued, the corresponding addon will be discontinued as well. This concerns for example Act! v21 (as of 01.11.2021). You can continue to use discontinued versions of Act! and the associated addons as long as they run on your system. However, we no longer provide support and software maintenance for discontinued versions.
