With the IMPORT|IT module of DATA|SUITE pro for Act! we provide you with a tool that allows you to import data from different sources into various formats. Importing from tables is also no longer a problem for you with IMPORT|IT.
IMPORT|IT imports all record types
Import data such as history, notes and activities. You have the possibility to assign these data to contacts, companies, groups, sales opportunities with freely definable criteria to find the corresponding master data record. IMPORT|IT supports txt, csv, xls, mdb, Act!, ODBC, Paradox, MYSQL and SQL formats. By simply mapping the fields to be imported from the source file to the Act! fields, the import is easy. The basic settings allow you to start a duplicate search or to easily search for duplicate or missing data using the null value and field processing settings. IMPORT|IT offers you the possibility of using a merge option, through which you can define the behavior when importing duplicates. The three possible situations (either duplicate found, duplicate not found, or duplicate found) allow you to set various settings such as ignore, do not import, create new record, overwrite existing record, overwrite empty fields, and keep existing data.
