Description
Address validation, proximity search and route planning: ADDRESS|IT
Bring your customers’ address data up to date with ADDRESS|IT and make navigation easier with integrated route planning (currently being revised) and radius search.
Address validation for a secure basis for customer communication
ADDRESS|IT provides you with complete and error-free address data for your customers. The add-on for Act! performs plausibility checks, for example, whether the postal code matches the city, district and state. In addition, the addon allows you to avoid errors such as mistyping, word twists or spelling mistakes. Save your time and hand over the search for missing information and manual data entry to ADDRESS|IT.
Route planning and radius search
With the help of route planning (currently under revision) you can determine your routes directly from your contact addresses in Act! Route planning is the interface between your Act! database and Google Maps. So if you select an address in one of your Act! address data, the address will be displayed as destination in Google Maps. Use the functions and the current geo data of Google Maps to optimize your route without having to enter your addresses manually.
The radius search offers you the search for contacts, companies and groups in a certain radius. If you enter a postal code in the radius search, all contacts, companies or groups in a radius defined by you will be displayed from this initial postal code.
Use the many functions of ADDRESS|IT
One useful function of ADDRESS|IT is the validation of addresses. As soon as you enter new addresses in Act!, your data is matched by means of postal code to city and district to state, so that you can create an error-free and complete data record. This validation is only valid within Germany, Austria and Switzerland. When entering an address, the validation automatically displays all postal codes within a radius of the address entered.
With the help of the radius search ADDRESS|IT offers you the option of searching for contacts, companies and groups. If you enter an initial postal code, the radius search will show you the existing contacts, companies and groups that are located within a radius (in kilometers) of the postal code entered.
By means of an additional control element in ADDRESS|IT the function Splitting of contact names into parts is possible. This splits name parts such as title, prefix, first-surname as well as prefix and suffix of the last name.
